Members of the Corrales Book Club celebrated the journey of fictional characters Santos ‘Champagne’ Sanchez, Adelita Chavez, Magdalena Moya, etc. through a presentation/dialogue centered on the novel, “The Fall and Rise of Champagne Sanchez.” The event, hosted by Corrales photographer Cheryl Cathcart at her home, was organized by Jean Harris attended by a gracious and supportive group of readers and took place on Friday, April 27th on the westside of the village.
