Gateway to Sense of Wonder Art Show Opening

The “Gateway to Sense of Wonder” Art Show will open on Saturday, April 15th at 2:00 p.m. (the reception will run from 2 to 4:00 p.m.) at the City of Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center at 6500 Coors Blvd. N.W. The multimedia exhibit (paintings, sculpture, stained glass, etc.) is presented by the New Mexico Arts Imaginative Collective and will be available for viewing through July 8th, 2023.

During the next 3 months several special events, organized by the New Mexico Arts Imaginative Collective will take place, including , a stained-glass workshop, a Story-telling day (with Giant Puppets,  a STEAM presentation that includes programmable controllers and smart phone apps, Solar viewing and a Start Day, etc. For more information call the Open Space Visitors Center at : (505) 768-4951 or visit the NMAIC Website at : https://www.nmaic.org

Throughout the past 5 years, Rudy J. Miera has worked on a series of “mountainscape” paintings featuring the Sandia Mountains as seen through the lenses of a variety of points-of-view, palettes, techniques and temperament. The results are a body of work incorporating a journey of discovery and imagination.
